埃斯特•博塞拉普（Ester Boserup，1910—1999），丹麦20世纪著名女性经济学家，出生于哥本哈根，于1935年从哥本哈根大学获得涵盖理论经济学和社会学、农业政策的学位。她的研究领域是经济学和农业发展，曾在丹麦政府工作，后在联合国欧洲经济委员会从事农业贸易政策方面的工作，后又在印度致力于将自己的理论运用到农业发展实践中。回到丹麦之后，博塞拉普在很多机构从事顾问工作，并创作了她一生中最重要的几部著作，其中成就深远的作品就是《农业增长的条件：人口压力下农业演变的经济学》，在该书中，她挑战了马尔萨斯学说，提出了影响深远的农业演变理论。
